AM CardDial Error with SIP

The symptom accompanying this issue are that calls can be made with CTI32 and SpitFire, but not when trying to use a caller id (CID) that is different from the CID in CTI32.ini file. The DialResult will be 207.

There is a parameter in the CTI32.ini file that needs to be changed to allow CID changes in SpitFire.

1. Stop all Campaigns, open CTI32 Config Utility and click Stop Service.

2. Once the service is stopped click on the Edit CTI32.ini box.

3. This will bring up the CTI32.ini in Notepad.

4. Now scroll down until you see the HMP section. The parameter InviteFromSuffix=@[public ip address] must be added (if not there) and the public ip address for the Dialer added here. The example below shows an internal address but this would need to be an external, public address.

5. Now close the notepad window and click the Save button on the CTI32 Configuration Utility

6. Once saved, click the Start Service button and, once the service is running, you can start your Campaign again.
